Conversions

Detroit EV no longer converts customer’s vehicles; we have found that the labor cost on top of part costs make this business not profitable.  We would rather provide advice to you on your conversion, and can help with some items, keeping your conversion on schedule.

We recommend the S-10 conversion kit designed by Canadian EV. We sell this kit with the Zilla option however lead times for this controller are sometimes longer than preferred.

Detroit EV will be converting and selling cars after they are converted.  Plans for our next cars include the PT Cruiser, S-10 and the Mini Cooper.
