EV Conversions
Detroit EV can convert almost any vehicle from gas to electric. We offer pricing below for the S10 and PT Cruiser basic EV conversions, contact us if you would like other vehicles/options quoted.
S10 EV conversion $13,500 for EV conversion of your S10 with Manual Transmission.
PT Cruiser EV conversion $14,500 for EV conversion of your PT Cruiser with Manual Transmission.
Typical conversion get up to 20 or 40 miles range and charge overnight, of course upgrades are available to improve the range and performance. Range varies depending on speed, how aggressive you are driving and the outside temp. Conversions can be completed in about 2 weeks once the components are on site.
Options available: Higher Performance Controllers, High Amp Fast Charger, Air Assist Suspension, Power Steering, under bed battery rack, battery heating & insulation system, battery watering system, Lithium Batteries with BMS, Air conditioning, Fleet maintenance, and Automatic transmission.
Not included is any standard vehicle repair. Often customers will find a high mileage vehicle for us to convert. High mileage or heavy use vehicles may require maintenance or repair of brakes, suspension, steering, or body components. These costs are not included in the conversion however Detroit EV can have this work done for you at additional cost and time. Detroit EV may decline to convert your vehicle if it is not structurally sound.
